About The Position

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join the dedicated team at Kingston Beach Dental. This is a great prospect for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely cares about creating a positive patient experience, and enjoys being part of a supportive team environment where everyone looks out for each other.

We welcome both experienced Dental Assistants and those looking to start their career in the dental industry. With exposure to a range of general and cosmetic procedures, including Invisalign, this role provides the opportunity to continue developing your skills within a modern and patient-focused practice.

This is a 4-day-per-week position, offering the chance to become a valued member of our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
n
- Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
n
- Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
n
- Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
n
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
n
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols,



as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What Do You Need To Succeed

- Cert III in Dental Assisting is beneficial for experienced candidates
n
- A warm, caring approach to patient care
n
- Great communication skills and a genuine team-first attitude
n
- A solution-focused approach, openness to feedback, and a willingness to learnAbility to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
- Current Australian work authorisation
