Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum

Our client, Fresh Crop Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled Retail Manager to join their team.

n

Duties and Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan, organise and oversee the daily operations of the fresh produce store to ensure effective and profitable business performance.
n
- Supervise, train and support retail staff, including preparing rosters, allocating duties and monitoring employee performance.
n
- Ensure the store is fully stocked with a wide range of fresh fruit, vegetables and related grocery products while maintaining high presentation standards.
n
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering and implement effective stock rotation procedures to minimise waste and maintain product freshness.
n
- Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer enquiries, resolving complaints and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
n
- Monitor daily sales, cash handling, banking procedures and financial reports to achieve business objectives.
n
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and seasonal displays to increase sales and customer engagement.
n




- Liaise with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of fresh produce and other retail merchandise.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety regulations and company policies.
n
- Analyse sales trends, customer demand and operational performance, implementing strategies to maximise profitability.
n
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness and visual merchandising to create an attractive shopping environment.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and the local community to support continued business growth.

Eligibility Criteria

n

n
- Minimum Certificate IV qualification or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
n
- At least one year of recent Experience working as a Retail Manager.
n
- Ability to lead, motivate and supervise a team.
n
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to drive sales, achieve targets, and implement sales strategies.
n
- Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with staff, customers, suppliers, and management.
n
- Strong visual merchandising skills.
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
- Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain a well-organised retail environment.
