Coalfields Mechanical & Towing Pty Ltd (CMT) provides mechanical repairs and maintenance to the mining industry and community. Based in Blackwater, CMT has been operating for over 17 years and continues to supply quality workmanship in our industry. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic trade qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide mechanical repairs and maintenance on motor vehicles based in our Blackwater workshop. We repair a variety of customer's vehicles from large mining fleets to privately owned vehicles. Full training is provided for our franchise work, including Izuzu Ute Australia and RACQ.

The successful candidate must be a trade-qualified motor mechanic and keen to work on a large variety of makes and models of light vehicles and machinery.

The suitable person would hold the following traits:
n
Hold a Automotive Mechanical Trade Qualification
n
Hold a Current Manual Driver's License
n
Ability to diagnose faults in petrol & diesel vehicles
n
Carry out servicing and repairs
n
Work as part of a team to achieve operational objectives
n
Follow correct procedures and guidelines
n
General housekeeping and workshop maintenance tidiness
n
The Following would be an advantage but not essential:
n
MR Truck license
n
Familiar with scan tools
n
Air-conditioning license
n
