About the Role

n

Permanent full time position available for a hardworking and reliable Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team located in our Grafton Depot.

n

Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to service, maintain and repair the company's fleet of light vehicles.

n

Duties

n

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

n

n
- On-time servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles (4WD & 2WD)
n
- Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
n
- Working with apprentices and other workshop employees
n
- Assist in managing daily workflow to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
n
- Administrative tasks relevant to the position
n
- Other appropriate duties as required
n

Skills and Experience

n

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done.



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

n

n
- Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
n
- Minimum 3 years post-trade working in a similar role
n
- Must have Forklift License
n
- Must have White Card
n
- Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions
n
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
n
- Is focused on providing the best service to our internal and external customers
n
- Can work overtime, including weekends when needed as well as after-hours call-outs
n
- Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
n
- Can work overtime, including weekends when needed
