The Role
n
As a BIM Technician, you'll support the delivery of prefabricated and structural design projects, working closely with structural, mechanical and electrical teams and architects to ensure seamless coordination.
n
This role is based at our Sydney office with hybrid working arrangements available.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Produce high-quality structural drafting for prefabrication and design projects
n
- Coordinate our BIM models with multiple other disciplines
n
- Build client demand for BIM services by engaging proactively with external stakeholders
n
- Develop analytical models in Revit and interface with structural design software
n
- Prepare detailed drawings for concrete, steel, timber and masonry
n
- Manage drawing packages to meet project requirements
n
- Work within the team to build and maintain parametric families and BIM libraries
n
- Improve workflows and drafting efficiency
n
- Troubleshoot design and modelling issues
n
n
About You
n
n
- Diploma in Design, Engineering or related field
n
- Understanding of Australian standards
n
- Previous BIM experience
n
- Strong proficiency in Revit, cloud-based modelling experience is a plus
n
- Exposure to mechanical pipework, structural steel and fabrication detailing (advantageous)
n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent computer literacy
n
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
n
- Collaborative communication style and a positive, proactive attitude
n
- Willingness to learn Inventor (experience highly regarded)
n
- Interest in collaboration tools such as Navis and Revizto
n
n
