Science Teacher - Christian School - Western Sydney

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established Christian school located in Sydney's Western Suburbs. This is a permanent full-time position, with an immediate start preferred. The school is also open to a Term 4 2026 or 2027 commencement for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

n

- Teach General Science across Years 7-10
n
- Deliver Physics or Chemistry for Years 11-12
n
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning programs
n
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and high academic expectations
n
- Integrate ICT effectively into teaching and learning
n
- Provide strong pastoral care and support student wellbeing
n

n

General Responsibilities

- Contribute positively to a faith-based school environment

- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student wellbeing
n
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
n
- Act as a positive role model in faith, conduct, and professionalism

You Will Need

n

n
- Experience teaching Science, with the ability to deliver senior Physics or Chemistry
n
- NESA accreditation (essential)
n




- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Solid classroom management and student engagement skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
n
- High-level ICT skills (MS Office and Google Workspace)
n
- Strong organisation and time management skills
n
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
n
- Passion for student learning and development
n
