We are seeking several experienced and reliable General Metal Fabricator to join our team at Jones Engineering.

n

This is a varied role suited to someone with solid fabrication skills who enjoys working across a wide range of projects. The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication, modification, repair and assembly of steel, stainless steel and aluminium components for industrial and commercial clients.

Duties may include:

- General fabrication and welding
n
- MIG, TIG and Stick welding
n
- Cutting, grinding, drilling and assembly
n
- Reading and working from drawings and measurements
n
- Fabricating structural and general steelwork
n
- Stainless steel and aluminium fabrication
n
- Repair and modification of existing equipment and components
n
- Operating workshop machinery and equipment
n




- Assisting with installation and site-based works where required
n
- Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
n

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can problem-solve on the job and is comfortable working across a variety of fabrication projects rather than repetitive production work.

n

Experience in metal fabrication and welding is essential, with trade qualifications highly regarded but not necessarily required for applicants who can demonstrate strong practical skills and experience.

n

Workshop is based in Dandenong South with site work located throughout Victoria.
