Reporting to the Warehouse Manager and based at our Bibra Lake Steel Centre, you will take ownership of our night shift operations, leading a team of warehouse operators to deliver secure, efficient and reliable customer outcomes. You'll be a visible leader on the warehouse floor, driving performance, building team capability and ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

What you will be doing:

- Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse operators to deliver safe, productive and efficient shift outcomes.
n
- Drive a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, toolbox talks, audits and compliance activities.
n
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are loaded accurately and dispatched on time.
n
- Monitor shift performance, allocate resources and manage KPIs to achieve operational targets.
n
- Train and mentor employees, building capability across warehouse processes, equipment and safe work practices.
n
- Support warehouse operations when required, leading by example alongside your team.
n

This is a permanent night shift position (10:00pm-6:00am), with an initial training period on day and/or afternoon shift before transitioning to nights.

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated leadership experience within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or steel distribution.
n
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and driving a positive safety culture.
n
- Experience coordinating warehouse operations and achieving operational performance targets.
n
- Overhead crane experience is highly desirable.
n
- Forklift licence will be highly regarded.
n
- Experience using SAP or similar warehouse management systems will be advantageous.
n
