Production Workers / Machine Operators – Afternoon Shift

Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and distributors of food and beverage consumable products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Production Workers / Machine Operators to join their expanding manufacturing team on the afternoon shift.

- Monday to Friday shifts (with overtime as required)
n
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
n
- Pay rate: $37.17 per hour + overtime rates
n
- Temp-to-permanent opportunity for successful candidates

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Operate production and packaging machinery
n
- Load and unload raw materials
n
- Feed raw materials into machinery for production
n
- Transfer and palletise finished goods
n
- Operate automatic lifting trolleys (rewinding packaging film rolls)
n
- Perform general pick and pack duties
n
- Follow company policies and procedures
n
- Maintain housekeeping and assist with warehouse duties
n
n
About You
n
To be considered,
you will ideally have:
n
n
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
n
- Experience in food manufacturing (highly desirable)
n
- HACCP and food safety awareness
n
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
n
- High attention to detail
n
- Physical fitness (ability to lift up to 25kg)
n
- Reliable transport
n
- Availability to work Monday–Friday and overtime when required
n
- Immediate availability (preferred)
n
