The Reserve Bank of Australia invites penultimate year students majoring in economics or econometrics to join its 2026-27 Economics and Policy Internship Program for an eight-week, full time placement over the Australian summer. You will work on a meaningful project, supported by an RBA economist, and culminate in a research paper presented to peers and senior staff.

Successful interns may be offered a place in the Economics and Finance Graduate Program commencing in February 2028.
