Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. With our Head Office in Beresfield, NSW, a fully equipped workshop in Muswellbrook, NSW, and an additional office in Queensland, we maintain a strong presence across all major sites in the Hunter region while expanding into the QLD market.

With two new projects underway, we are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our field service team operating between two Major sites in the Bowen Basin on a 7/7 Roster. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a company that values their in-house maintenance team, safety, performance, and teamwork.

About the Role

n

n
- Field Service Boilermaker position based in QLD's Bowen Basin
n
- Carry out repairs and modifications including structural repairs, wear plate replacement, bucket repairs and general fabrication works on heavy earthmoving equipment
n
- Liaise closely with Maintenance Supervisors across both site operations to ensure repairs, inspections and fabrication works are completed effectively,



with proactive solutions implemented to improve equipment availability

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, technical manuals and OEM documentation
n
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Mineco's safety standards, site procedures and quality requirements
n

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) or equivalent
n
- Ability to DIDO to Bowen Basin sites | Ideally based within a 4-hour drive to site
n
- Post-trade experience working within the mining, heavy earthmoving or civil industries is highly regarded
n
- Experience completing repairs and fabrication works on large-scale mobile mining equipment
n
- Ability to interpret drawings, measure accurately and complete quality workmanship
n
- Robust attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and reliability
n
