Archiclad is an Industry leader in supply & distribution of Building Products to the internal and external lining market. The Service Centre Manager will oversee daily operations of the Warehouse, and trade counter, ensuring a high level of customer service. The manager will be able to not only deliver on, but exceed customer expectations. Having a sound understanding solution based customer service, the SCM will also have the ability to manage staff effectively.

What You'll Do

n

Leading the service centre team — supervising a small team, building a customer-first culture.

n

Mange Inventory levels, forecast and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand, as well as maintaining accurate electronic stock levels.

n

Assisting Business Development Managers with quotes and tenders, and meeting the operational needs of their customers.

n

Resolving customer complaints, monitoring feedback and identifying new business opportunities.

n

Gathering and reporting on market intelligence — pricing, products, delivery, competitor activity

n

Championing OH&S; — implementing policies, conducting OH&S; meetings and driving continuous safety improvement

n

About you





n

You're an experienced operations or service leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering results. You bring:

n

Proven leadership experience in a service, logistics or operations environment.

n

Strong commercial acumen — comfortable with quoting, budgeting, forecasting

n

A genuine customer-service mindset and the ability to turn feedback into action

n

Solid understanding of WHS obligations in an industrial setting.

n

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across sites and functions.

n

Knowledge of Building products whilst not essential, would be highly regarded.

n

A continuous-improvement mindset — always looking for ways to sharpen processes and team output

n

Happy to lead from the front - this is a very hands on role.
