REMUNERATION

n

Registered Nurse: $34.00 - $48.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties.

n

RN Sponsorships available to the right candidate.

n

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: $ 30.00 - $33.50 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties.

n

Assistants in Nursing also encouraged to apply.

About the Role & Duties

n

We are seeking experienced and passionateRegistered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nursesto work in our Surgical/ Rehabilitation ward that caters for bariatric surgery patients, day surgery, general surgery and rehabilitation patients. The successful applicant will be able to work a rotating roster on casual and permanent part time basis.

(We are currently hiring for more experienced staff, no Current Graduates at this time, please.)

Part-time - need to be available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

n

DUTIES

n

Provide safe and efficient nursing care specific to each patients clinical, physical and psych-social needs.

n

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing carein conjunction with comprehensive care plans.

n

Supervise the health, safety, nutrition, hygiene and comfort of the patient.

n

Respect all patient requests and beliefs and communicate to members of the health care team.

n

Ensure accurate and informed handovers take place to provide continuous care of patients.

n

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

n

To be successful in the role you will need:

n

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital settingin Australia

n

Current AHPRA registration

n

Working with Children Clearance, National Criminal Record Check

n

Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

n

Team leader skills and experience

n

Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills

n

Demonstrated effective written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills

n

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

n

HDU nursing experience or willingness to participate in training.

n

Interest or experience in Quality Improvement.
