We are searching discreetly for an established Corporate Partner to join one of Queensland progressive and strategically disciplined corporate law firms, as it continues a sustained phase of its growth across the country.

This nationally recognised practice has built prominence in the corporate, government and infrastructure sectors. With a midcap client base and a consistently high-performing partnership, the firm offers a platform designed to support ambitious partners in materially enhancing both their practice and earnings, all while providing you with extensive support and collegiality.

The Opportunity:
n You will join a financially robust national firm operating at the upper-mid of the market, with strong leadership and a clear growth trajectory. The Brisbane office, in particular, is entering another year of significant expansion, with forecast growth of 15%–20% over the next 12 months. Part of that growth is in its Corporate team. Insofar as the corporate role is concerned, the firm is offering you the opportunity to:

- Work alongside a highly regarded group of senior corporate partners nationally.

- Lead complex transactions and strategic advisory mandates.

- Further scale your practice within a well-capitalised and growth-focused platform.

- Leverage an established, premium client base while transitioning your clients and continuing to build this further.

The national team advises a variety of sectors across a range of transactions including but not limited to:

- Mergers & Acquisitions (regulated and off-market)
n
- Equity Capital Markets, including IPOs and backdoor listings
n
- Corporate restructures and joint ventures
n
- Corporate advisory includingASX Listing Rules and Corporate Compliance and Regulatory matters.
n

n

NB: Deep expertise across all areas is not essential, moreover a strong core corporate capability in 60% of these matters is key.

n

Commercial Proposition:

- 'Entry level' Partner earnings of this firm are in excess of $500K+, with the majority of equity partners well north of $1M
n
- Solid internal referral networks and cross-office collaboration exist.
n
- A partnership model built on transparency, profitability and sustainable growth.

About You:

n

This will suit a junior to mid-level Corporate Partner (or a Special Counsel on the cusp of partnership) seeking a more commercially rewarding and strategically aligned platform without the red tape or internal politics. You will bring:

n

n
- 10–25 years' PQE in corporate law
n
- Experience from a top-tier, leading mid-tier or specialist corporate practice
n




- A demonstrable track record in business development and client relationship management
n
- A current client profile between $900K to $1.5m
n
- The ability to lead and manage a modest team allowing you to scale up your practice and advance within the equity pool.
n
