We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial capability and supporting informed decision-making at a strategic level. The opportunity:

n

Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor, partnering across the organisation to enhance financial performance, governance, and transparency.

n

You will bring clarity to complex financial information and drive improvements that support both operational and strategic outcomes.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

Providing strategic financial advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders

n

Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes

n

Strengthening financial governance, controls and compliance frameworks

n

Driving financial improvement initiatives and process uplift

n





Developing clear, insightful reporting to support decision-making

n

Building strong, collaborative relationships across corporate and operational teams

n

About you

n

You are an experienced senior finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence and partner effectively.

n

You will bring:

n

Demonstrated experience in financial management, governance and business partnering

n

Strong analytical capability with a strategic mindset

n

Proven ability to lead financial improvement initiatives and uplift processes

n

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences

n

A collaborative, mature approach and commitment to consistency, transparency and continuous improvement

n

Highly regarded:

n

Experience within volunteer-based organisations, emergency services or similarly complex environments

n

Qualifications

n

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline

n
