Looking to become a Driller? If you have labouring experience and hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence, this is your prospect to join Aston's Driller Offsider JobFitTM Challenge.

Preferably based in Ourimbah or able to travel daily.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Assist the driller in day-to-day drilling activities
n
- Drive the Heavy Rigid truck
n
- Present and clean core samples
n
- Perform light vehicle maintenance and cleaning
n
- Conduct pre-start checks on drill rigs
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Previous experience in manual labour
n
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence required
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
- Physically fit and safety-focused
n




- Clean police record to access mine sites
n
- Based in Ourimbah or able to travel daily
n

n

Rosters & Shifts

n

n
- Monday to Friday, optional Saturday work
n
- 10-14 hour shifts per day
n
- Extra pay for weekend and night work
n
- Some working away at times depending on project needs
n

n

Work Sites

n

n
- Geotech exploration drilling company based on the Central Coast
n
- Projects spanning Sydney and the Central Coast
n
- Working on 10 Hanjin rigs for exploration and civil projects
n

n

Career Progression

n

n
- Driller Offsider: $100K + Super
n
- Trainee Driller (after 1 year): $120K + Super
n
- Driller Level 1 (after 2 years): $140K + Super
n
- Driller Level 2 (after 3 years): $160K + Super
n
- Driller Level 3 (after 4 years): $180K + Super
n
