Job Description

We are seeking an Installer/Service Technician to join our Best Doors team in Cairns. This hands-on role that involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial garage doors, roller doors, automatic openers, and associated products throughout the Far North Queensland region.

What you will do

n

n
- Installation of residential and commercial garage doors and automatic openers
n
- Servicing and maintenance of existing door garage doors and industrial roller shutters.
n
- Fault finding and repairs
n
- Safe operation of tools, equipment, and access machinery
n
- Delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners and businesses
n
- Maintaining a clean and professional work environment
n
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
n

What we require

n

n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Right to work in Australia (not suitable for working holiday visa applicants)
n
- Ability to use a variety of power tools.
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling to complete work
n

n

What we prefer

n

n
- Previous experience in garage door installation, construction industry, & trades
n
- Solid communication and customer service skills
n
- White Card (preferred)



or ability to obtain within 3 months if employed
