We are seeking experienced Transmission Linespersons with a Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30521) who have robust transmission stringing experience to join our growing workforce on major high-voltage transmission projects across Australia, from the West Coast to the East Coast.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

As part of our transmission construction crews, you'll be involved in:

n

n
- Transmission conductor stringing and sagging
n
- Installation of OPGW and earthwire
n
- Tower assembly and erection
n
- Installation and replacement of insulators and hardware
n
- Climbing transmission structures
n
- Operating in tensioning and pulling operations
n




- Working safely on live transmission corridors under approved procedures
n
- Reading construction drawings and work packs
n
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
n

n

REQUIREMENTS

n

ESSENTIAL

n

n
- Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead (UET30521)
n
- Demonstrated experience on transmission line construction projects
n
- Strong transmission stringing experience (this is essential)
n
- Experience working on 132kV, 220kV, 275kV, 330kV or 500kV transmission lines
n
- Current White Card
n
- Excellent commitment to safe work practices
n
- Ability to work in remote project locations and FIFO rosters
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
n

n

HIGHLY REGARDED

- Dogging
n
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging
n
- Elevated Work Platform (WP)
n
- Tower Rescue
n
- CPR/LVR
n
- First Aid
n
- HR or MR Licence
n
- Experience operating pullers, tensioners or associated stringing equipment
n
- Experience supervising stringing crews
n
