Animo is an innovative virtual production and motion-capture studio dedicated to

creating immersive and cutting-edge iGaming experiences for players around the

globe.

This is where it gets exciting:

this is not a typical studio role. Our Virtual Gaming

n

Hosts help bring animated characters and virtual environments to life while hosting

n

engaging live games in real time. Motion capture simply means wearing a

n

specialised suit that translates your movements to an animated character seen on

n

screen. Hosts remain anonymous, as customers see only the animated

n

character on screen, not the person wearing the motion-capture suit.

n

Full training and ongoing support are provided as you become familiar with the

n

role and the equipment used. You will work in a live studio environment with

n

opportunities to develop new skills and progress into leadership or other areas of the

n

business.

n

About the Role

n

This is a unique, studio-based Virtual Gaming Host (VGH) position within our Internal

n

Operations team.

n

As a Virtual Gaming Host, you will host live sessions streamed around the globe in

n

real time. Working within established facilitation guidelines, you will help create a

n

welcoming, interactive, professional and consistent experience.

n

We are interested in your transferable skills, reliability and willingness to learn and

n

encourage you to apply even if your previous experience does not directly match

n

every point listed.

n

A Note on Rostered Hours

n

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their working week, is comfortable

n





working outside traditional business hours or values having time available during the

n

day.

n

The studio keeps the streams running around the clock, so shifts are rostered 24/7

n

across days, evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays on a rotating

n

basis. Applicants must be available to work across the full rotating roster.

n

We recognise that overnight and weekend work asks more of our people. That's why these shifts attract penalty rates above the applicable award minimum.

n

What You Will Do

n

Live Hosting

n

n
- Host live sessions in a real-time motion-capture studio.
n
- Create an engaging and professional experience for customers.
n
- Communicate clearly and confidently while following required facilitation style.
n
- Follow procedures to keep each session smooth, consistent and fair.
n
- Maintain awareness of the live studio environment.
n
- Identify and elevate irregularities when required.
n
- Complete required checks before and after live sessions.
n
- Help ensure the studio is ready to support uninterrupted live streams.
n
- Use, care for, maintain, store and account for motion-capture suits and equipment.
n
- Complete required suit and equipment-care activities as directed.
n

You do not need to come from a particular industry or have followed a traditional

career path. Skills developed through different work, caring responsibilities,

community involvement, education or other life experiences may all be relevant to

this role.

Assessment Requirements

n

As part of the recruitment process, applicants will be required to:

n

- Complete a short, role-related movement assessment to confirm they can safely and comfortably use the motion-capture equipment.
n
- Demonstrate that they can safely undertake the practical requirements of the role.
n

n

Experience

n

n
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, presenting, retail, tourism or another people-focused environment is not required but may be helpful.
n
- Transferable skills gained through other work, caring responsibilities, community involvement, education or life experience will be considered.
n
- Previous rotating-roster or overnight-shift experience may be helpful but is not
n
