About the role

n

We are seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in Lavington, NSW. This is a vital role within our organisation, where you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to achieve their personal goals and maintain their quality of life. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of our service delivery, working flexibly to meet the varied needs of our clients. This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including hygiene, grooming, and dressing support

n

Assist clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, and household management

n

Support clients to participate in community activities, social events, and recreational outings

n

Help clients with mobility support and safe manual handling techniques

n

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided and client progress

n

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other support team members to ensure coordinated care

n

Promote client independence and encourage participation in decision-making about their support

n

Maintain a safe, clean,



and supportive setting for clients

n

Respond to client needs with compassion, patience, and professionalism

n

Adhere to all duty of care, safeguarding, and health and safety policies and procedures

n
