Job Description
What You'll Do
n
n
- Support ASX core network, including Datacentre Network, Internet, Office, Service Provider Network, Network Monitoring and Security.
n
- Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required.
n
- Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner. Resolve incidents, problems and change requests to required service level targets.
n
- Manage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within specified time frames.
n
- Operate within ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change management.
n
- Uphold and adhere to ASX's core values, guidelines, policies and procedures.
n
- Contribute to the design and implementation of projects.
n
- Liaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions for ASX Customers (internal and external).
n
- Management of Network Infrastructure including Monitoring and Capacity Planning.
n
- Assist in the deployment of networks to support ASX and backend projects.
n
- ASX Position Description 2/3.
n
- Improve on proactivity and ensure all of processes are being reviewed to ensure efficiency.
n
n
What You've Done
n
n
- Solid Experience in F5, Arista Switching/Wireless, Cisco and Cumulus networking technologies.
n
- EVPN, VRF, MPLS, NAT, QoS and VPN knowledge.
n
- Experience in delivering and supporting large scale networks.
n
- Experience working on F5 technologies (LTM, GTM, APM and ASM). Design, support and upgrade of F5 physical and virtual devices.
n
- Experience working on Palo Alto Security technologies. Design, support and upgrade of Palo Alto network firewall devices.
n
- Influenced and negotiated with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
n
- Directly interfaced with non-technical customers.
n
- Experience working with and maintaining mission critical networks.
n
- Worked with monitoring tools and developed metrics for network availability.
n
n
And if you've got some of this, even better
n
n
- Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.
n
- Vendor certifications CCNP / CCIE, F5, Palo Alto etc.
n
- Knowledge and support of operating systems – Windows / Linux.
n
- Scripting skills.
n
- Network monitoring.
n
- Mentoring team members.
n
n
