About the Role

n

This is a hands-on leadership role offering full autonomy. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading the team with confidence, and driving continuous improvement across the clinic.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations
n
- Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary team
n
- Manage staff rostering and workforce coordination
n
- Ensure accurate Medicare billing, compliance, and maintain billing accuracy
n
- Work closely with the on-site bookkeeper to support financial processes and reporting
n
- Utilise PRODA and Medicare systems effectively
n
- Maintain accreditation standards with AGPAL
n




- Arrange and manage documentation for IMG (International Medical Graduate) GPs
n
- Identify and implement process improvements and small project work
n

About You

- Confident, hands-on leader who can take full ownership of a busy practice
n
- Strong operational and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Solid understanding of Medicare billing, compliance, and practice workflows
n
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and drive change
n
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build a positive team culture
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager within general practice (essential)
n
- Strong working knowledge of Medical Director and Pracsoft (essential)
n
- Experience using PRODA and Medicare systems (essential)
n
- Experience with accreditation processes, including AGPAL (preferred)
n
- Relevant qualification in Practice Management, Health Administration, or similar (desirable)
n
