Job Description
Business Analyst - Regulatory Related project
n
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a significant regulatory transformation initiative. This role will provide the analytical bridge between audit recommendations, business policy decisions, operating model design and the eventual system or workflow solution.
n
The successful candidate will work across business, risk, compliance, finance, operational and technology stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes and support the delivery of sustainable business and system outcomes.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Translate regulatory and audit recommendations into clear business outcomes, deliverables and actionable change initiatives.
n
- Support discovery and target-state design activities by clarifying scope, requirements, processes, data, roles and solution options before detailed system design begins.
n
- Analyse current-state processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, manual workarounds, ownership challenges and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Design and document future-state processes, workflows and operating models aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
n
- Elicit, document and manage business and functional requirements across policy, risk, compliance, operations, finance and technology teams.
n
- Work with stakeholders to define controls, reporting requirements, governance processes and audit evidence needs.
n
- Assess solution options, including system enhancements, workflow solutions and interim operational controls.
n
- Maintain requirements traceability from regulatory obligations and audit findings through to solution design, testing and implementation.
n
- Produce high-quality BA artefacts including process maps, business requirements documents, user stories, acceptance criteria,
stakeholder maps, decision logs, risks/issues registers and test scenarios.
n
- Support change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, training requirements and adoption planning.

To succeed in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience delivering Business Analysis outcomes on regulatory, compliance, risk or audit remediation projects.
n
- Solid understanding of banking and financial services processes, controls and operating models.
n
- Experience translating regulatory requirements and business policies into practical solutions.
n
- Ability to work across business and technology teams to deliver effective outcomes.
n
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
n
- Experience with process modelling, requirements management and solution assessment.
n
- A structured approach to analysis, documentation and problem solving.
n
n
