We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Head of Learning Mathematics for 2027. The successful applicant will have the capacity to enable high levels of learning for all students in Year 7 – Year 12 in Mathematics.

Selection Criteria

n
- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
n
- Ability to teach Mathematics to Year 7 -Year 12 students.
n
- Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who empowers their peer colleagues in the planning and implementation of teaching programs that improve student learning.
n
- Have a broad repertoire of teaching strategies that engage all students and can share this with the mathematics team.
n
- Utilises data informed practices in their leadership.
n
- Understands the importance of developing positive relationship with students, staff and parents,



and can demonstrate evidence of such actions
n
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that foster a supportive and safe learning environment.
n
- Demonstrate a commitment to the academic and pastoral wellbeing of staff and students at the College.
n
- Demonstrate solid communication, organisational, leadership and administrative skills.
n
- Ability to teach ATAR Mathematics in Years 11 and 12
