ACESGroup is seeking an experienced and motivated Security Control Room Operator / Team Leader to join our team at South Bank in Brisbane.

n

This role forms part of a professional, client-focused security operation delivering safe, secure, and customer-friendly services within a dynamic environment.

n

Responsibilities and Duties

n

n
- You will play a key role in maintaining site safety and security, monitoring activities, and ensuring professional service delivery at all times within a crowded environment.
n

n

Typical duties may include:

n

n
- Monitoring CCTV and physical security systems (Control Room Operator).
n
- Conducting regular visible patrols and responding to incidents.
n
- Providing customer assistance and engagement and welfare support with vulnerable people.
n
- Maintaining strong resilience, situational awareness and suspicious activity reporting, including participation in training, exercises, and drills.
n
- Preparing reports, logs, and escalating incidents when required.
n
- Provide high-quality security services in accordance with client requirements, (including Conditions of Entry management) and ACESGroup standards.
n
- Operate and utilise ACESGroup's technology platforms to support site safety and reporting.
n
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems.
n
- Collaborate with team members, management, and precinct partners to enhance operational efficiency.
n

Essential Criteria

n

n
- QLD Security Licence
n
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)
n
- First Aid and CPR (current)
n
- Understanding of security arrangements for a crowded place
n
- Customer service experience
n




- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
n
- Exceptional personal presentation
n
- Reliability and punctuality
n
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
n
- Ability to pass a LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test
n
- Full QLD Driver Licence
n
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
n
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
n
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).
n
