The Position

n

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent Consultant Anaesthetist to join the largest hospital in Central Queensland—a rapidly expanding service with a robust commitment to clinical excellence, education, and workforce growth.

As a senior member of the department, you will:

n

n
- Deliver comprehensive pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative anaesthetic care
n
- Provide input into HDU management and emergency responses
n
- Supervise and mentor Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, Junior House Officers and Interns within an accredited training department
n
- Participate in an expanding and increasingly complex caseload as Central Queensland's healthcare needs continue to grow
n

Requirements

Applicants must hold:

- FANZCA, or
n
- NZ FANZCA, or
n
- Equivalent international postgraduate qualifications that meet ANZCA requirements, or

- SIMGs with an ANZCA assessment outcome of *Substantially Comparable*
