Key responsibilities

- Lead the technical development and delivery of heritage conservation projects, ensuring architectural integrity and sensitivity.

- Prepare comprehensive reports and assessments that inform planning and adaptive reuse strategies for heritage sites.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft innovative solutions that integrate contemporary design within historic contexts.

- Provide expert advice on heritage legislation, conservation best practices, and project planning processes.

- Engage with clients and stakeholders through presentations and consultations, effectively communicating heritage concepts and strategies.

- Conduct on-site assessments, field surveys, and documentation to support project development with accurate, insightful data.

- Contribute to the development and refinement of conservation standards and studio-wide best practices.

Skills and experience

- Proven experience as a Heritage Architect or within conservation-focused architecture, with a diverse portfolio of heritage projects.

- Registration or pursuit of a Graduate Diploma in Heritage Conservation is preferred; strong heritage knowledge and experience are essential.

- Excellent report writing and documentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and related software.
n
- Deep understanding of heritage legislation, planning processes, and conservation methodologies.
n
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating ownership and leadership across complex heritage schemes.

- Strong commitment to balancing historic preservation with contemporary design innovation.
