The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Manager and Principal, you will receive exceptional mentoring to accelerate your career. You will enjoy direct client contact from day one, managing end-to-end relationships rather than just processing data behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

n

Financial & Tax Preparation: Prepare high-quality Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Companies, Trusts, and SMSFs.

n

Compliance Management: Oversee monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS).

n

Cloud Advisory: Assist clients with modern payroll systems, Single Touch Payroll (STP),



and proactive Payday Super management.

n

Client Collaboration: Act as a trusted point of contact, resolving tax queries and delivering high-value solutions.

n

Team Support: Work closely with the Manager and Principal to streamline workflow and support junior staff.

What You Bring

n

Experience: 3+ years in an Australian public practice (Business Services) role. Overseas experience will not be considered.

n

Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Xero is essential; experience with Class Super is highly desirable.

n

Tax Knowledge: Up-to-date, solid understanding of current Australian tax legislation.

n

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication with a natural ability to build rapport with business clients.

n

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred. CA/CPA qualification (or progress towards it) is a plus, but not essential.

n

Attitude: A positive, collaborative mindset with sharp organizational skills.

n
