Service Improvement Analyst – Ways of Working (Fixed‐Term, 10 months) at the University of Melbourne, Parkville, VIC, AU.

What you will deliver

n

n
- Prepare clear, structured role and ways‐of‐working documentation aligned with agreed service models and outcomes.
n
- Collaborate with Service Improvement Leads and project teams to clarify roles, responsibilities and expectations from designs.
n
- Review inputs, synthesise findings and prepare design artefacts under guidance from the Service Improvement Lead.
n
- Develop and maintain capability‐related documentation, including role expectations and inputs to learning and development plans.
n
- Engage stakeholders to gather, clarify and document information that supports downstream HR and change planning.
n
- Support workshops and interviews by preparing materials, capturing outcomes and translating discussions into structured documentation.

You may be a great fit if you

n

n
- Hold qualifications or equivalent experience in service improvement, business analysis, systems thinking or related areas.
n
- Bring practical experience supporting service improvement or service design initiatives within large, complex organisations.
n




- Understand service improvement and design approaches and apply them to documentation, analysis and design activities.
n
- Gather and synthesise qualitative and quantitative information to produce explicit role and ways‐of‐working artefacts.
n
- Demonstrate strong written communication, collaborative working style, and a growth mindset in evolving project environments.
n
