Working closely with the Head of FP&A;, you will play a key role in preparing the organisation's weekly cashflow reporting and supporting its budgeting and forecasting activities. You will analyse cash movements and funding requirements, investigate forecast variances and ensure reporting is accurate and complete. You will also review existing cashflow models and manual processes, identify practical improvements and develop clear documentation to support continuity and a smooth handover.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain weekly internal cashflow reports.
- Support the preparation and delivery of weekly shareholder cashflow reporting.
- Analyse short-term cash movements, funding requirements and forecast variances.
- Assist with annual budgeting, reforecasting and financial planning activities.
- Review and improve existing cashflow models, reporting processes and Excel workbooks.
- Consolidate and reconcile financial information from multiple data sources.
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
- Maintain banking facility, covenant and related treasury records.
- Assist with covenant and lender reporting requirements.
- Support payments, funding requests and cash transfers.
About you
- Strong experience in cashflow reporting, forecasting and analysis.
- Demonstrated budgeting and reforecasting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with financial models, complex formulas and large datasets.
- The ability to understand an existing financial model, follow its logic and identify errors or opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable work.
