Firstform Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Formworker/Carpenter to join our team on a Full Time Basis in Brisbane, QLD. This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for constructing and installing custom formwork for concrete foundations and structures. With 2 years of client projects in the pipeline we are looking for long term employees who meet our cultural fit.

What you'll be doing
n

- Fabricating and installing formwork for concrete foundations and structures according to project specifications
n
- Carrying out finish carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinetry and cladding.
n
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations
n
- Collaborating with the site supervisor and other tradespeople to coordinate construction activities
n
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
n
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site
n

What we're looking for
n

- Proven experience as a Formworker/Carpenter, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the construction industry
n
- Strong knowledge of carpentry principles, building codes, and construction techniques
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
n
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
n
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
n
