The Opportunity

n

Sands Fridge Lines is currently seeking reliable and motivated Freight Loaders for immediate starts within our warehouse and logistics operations team.

n

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient consolidation, staging, and loading of refrigerated freight. This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Consolidate and prepare freight for loading
n
- Operate electric pallet jacks to move and stage freight
n
- Load stock safely and efficiently into refrigerated trailers
n
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the work area
n
- Accurately check freight documentation and consignment notes
n
- Perform manual handling duties as required
n
- Follow job sheets and operational instructions
n
- Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures
n

n





What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred)
n
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack (essential)
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- A robust work ethic and reliable attendance record
n
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
n
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- A forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
n
