We're looking for a commercially minded Procurement Specialist who thrives on creating structure, improving processes, building strong supplier relationships, and influencing business outcomes.

This role offers a rare opportunity to establish procurement capability across Vertaview Group. You'll have the autonomy to develop frameworks, strengthen governance, optimise supplier performance, and drive meaningful change across the organisation.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Group Executive - Property, you'll be responsible for establishing and managing the Group's procurement function while overseeing fleet management and supplier performance.
n
Key areas of focus include:
n
n
- Establish and implement a Group-wide procurement framework, including policies, procedures, and governance standards.
n
- Lead strategic sourcing, tender processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management to drive value and performance.
n
- Build and strengthen supplier and contractor partnerships, including onboarding, evaluation, and ongoing performance management.
n
- Identify cost‐saving opportunities and procurement improvements that deliver commercial and operational benefits.
n
- Oversee fleet management operations, ensuring compliance, optimisation, and effective reporting.
n
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve procurement practices, implement systems and reporting, and support organisational goals.
n

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 6 months, you'll be making tangible progress by:

- Establishing standardised procurement processes and frameworks
n
- Building a robust contractor and supplier management program
n
- Driving improvements and utilisation across fleet management
n
- Reviewing and reassessing key contracts and procurement opportunities
n
- Creating greater visibility, governance, and procurement maturity across the organisation.
n
n
About You
n
We're seeking a hands‐on, procurement professional who combines strategic thinking with the drive to build, improve, and influence outcomes.
n
n
- 3–5+ years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management, with strong knowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and vendor management.
n
- Experience with fleet management or working alongside external lease providers will be highly regarded.
n
- Proven ability to lead sourcing activities, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to deliver commercial value.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge thinking, and build trusted relationships across the business.
n
- Demonstrated experience with procurement systems, reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
n
- An agile and solutions‐focused mindset, able to identify problems, create practical processes, and adapt to changing priorities.
n
- A collaborative team player who is improvement‐driven, continuously seeking better ways of working and positive business outcomes.
n
n
