Part Time Medical Receptionist for Orthopaedic Practice

We are seeking a friendly, highly organised, and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic orthopaedic practice 3 days per week. This is a quick-paced, rewarding role that plays a key part in ensuring our patients and clinicians receive exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, GPs, and other specialists, providing excellent customer service and communication.
n
Coordinate and manage clinic appointments and theatre bookings.
n
Handle referral management, ensuring all paperwork and electronic records are accurate and up-to-date.
n
Support the day-to-day running of busy clinics and liaise with our internal and external stakeholders.
n
Prioritise multiple competing tasks effectively and remain calm under pressure.
n
Uphold our practice's professional and caring ethos at all times.
n
Must be confident and comfortable working autonomously
n
Flexibility to work a rotating roster around clinic requirements, including some early mornings, early evenings and lunch time shifts is necessary.
n
Skills and Attributes:
n
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
n
Proven ability to multitask, prioritise, and adapt in a busy environment.
n
Experience in a medical practice, ideally within a specialist setting, is advantageous.
n
High attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding service.
n
Proficiency with medical practice management software is desirable.
n
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team setting.
n
