The Role:

n

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our energetic team to lead a $10m New Build Education project.
n The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of contracts, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a key role that requires a meticulous and proactive individual with a strong understanding of the construction life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
n
- Procurement: Assist with the tendering process, including preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluating submissions, and recommending subcontractors and suppliers.
n
- Financial Administration: Manage variations, progress claims, and invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
n
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including contracts, correspondence, and project schedules.
n
- Stakeholder Liaison:



Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, resolving contract-related queries and issues.
n
- Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations and legal requirements are met throughout the project life cycle.
n
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, financial performance, and potential risks.

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry in Australia.
n
- Proven experience managing New Build Commercial projects up to $15m.
n
- In-depth knowledge of Australian construction contracts.
n
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
n
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
n
- Proficiency in project management and contract administration software.
n
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is highly desirable.
