Priority One Building Services (P1B) is a specialist insurance building and restoration company delivering water damage restoration, mould remediation, fire damage restoration, structural drying and make-secure works for insurers, strata managers and property owners.

We're growing and looking for a reliable, hands-on Restoration Technician to join our field crews.
n
What you'll do
n
Attend water, mould, fire and make-safe jobs across residential and commercial sites
n
Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
n
Take and record moisture readings and track drying progress
n
Carry out controlled deconstruction, containment setup and decontamination
n
Perform mould remediation under established stage-gate processes
n
Document site conditions with photos and field notes (Encircle or similar)
n
Work safely following IICRC-aligned procedures
n
Communicate clearly with supervisors, project managers and clients
n
What we're looking for
n
Experience in restoration, construction, trades or a related hands-on field (restoration experience highly regarded)
n
IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT or equivalent) an advantage - or willingness to obtain
n
Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
n
Comfortable with physical work in PPE, including confined or affected spaces
n
Good written communication for clear site documentation
n
Current driver's licence (essential)
n
White Card / Construction Induction (essential or willing to obtain)
n
Willingness to travel to jobs across Queensland as required
n
Willingness to undertake on-call/after-hours emergency make-safe work (role dependent)
n
