About the Role

n

As a Freight Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping international and domestic freight moving safely, efficiently and on time. Every day is different. You'll work within a dynamic airport setting, handling cargo, coordinating freight movements and contributing to critical logistics operations that connect businesses and communities across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely screen, load and unload cargo
n
- Operate forklifts and airside vehicles
n
- Coordinate cargo movements throughout the terminal
n
- Complete operational documentation and system updates
n
- Maintain accurate records and compliance standards
n
- Follow all workplace health,



safety and aviation security requirements
n
- Work collaboratively with a high-performing operations team
n
- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and equipment checks
n

n

Working Hours

n

AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your training period, you will work across a rotating roster. Shift start times may be as early as 4:00am.

n

- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including manual handling

- Previous warehouse, logistics, freight or aviation experience (advantageous but not essential)

No air cargo experience? That's okay! If you have the right attitude and willingness to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Licences & Requirements

n

n
- Current Australian Driver Licence with own reliable transport
n
- Current LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
n
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check
n
