The company is seeking a full-time permanent position for a Warehouse 2IC to join the team immediately for 40 hour week with a monthly RDO starting at 7am and finishing at 3.30pm at our head office in Mentone.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys leading by example. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the warehouse while remaining actively involved in warehouse operations.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their leadership skills, with the potential to progress into the Warehouse Manager role in the future.

About the Role

n

As the Warehouse 2IC, you will support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and accurately. You will be a key member of the team, leading from the front and assisting with all aspects of warehouse operations when required.

Key Responsibilities

n

The role is responsible for:

n





- Assist with the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
n
- Support and guide warehouse staff, leading by example.
n
- Work alongside the team with picking, packing, receipting and general warehouse duties as required.
n
- Assist in coordinating outbound freight.
n
- Help maintain accurate inventory and stock control.
n
- Monitor warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse workplace.
n
- Support compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
n
- Assist with stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies.
n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse setting.
n
- Experience leading or supervising a small team is preferred.
n
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to work alongside the team.
n
- Robust organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
n
- Current Forklift, Drivers and Pickers License
n
