Experience driving Medium Rigid Trucks (required)

Forklift licence - High Reach or Counterbalance (preferred)

Established in 2014, RJ Living is a leading Australian-based retailer of unique and on-trend home furniture. Due to strong growth, we are seeking to hire a truck driver / furniture assembler. Starting immediately, we have a full-time position based at our Dandenong South warehouse, delivering orders to customers across Melbourne.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

n

As the ideal candidate you would have experience in truck driving and furniture delivery, and experience in movement and handling of furniture.

n

- Daily Loading of Our In-House Delivery Trucks
n
- Delivering orders to customers with a jockey (two-person crew)
n




- Assembling furniture in customers' homes where required - mostly bed frames and dining tables (all tools supplied)
n
- Safe manual handling and two-person lifting of bulky furniture items
n
- Protecting, securing and restraining loads for transit
n
- Providing friendly and professional service in customers' homes
n
- Recording deliveries and proof of delivery, maintaining the accuracy of delivery records
n
- Keeping the interior and exterior clean, tidy and well presented
n

- Experience driving Medium Rigid trucks (required)
n
- Experience using a High Reach or Counterbalance forklift (preferred)
n
- Energy and a can-do attitude
n
- A sense of humour

Current Medium Rigid (MR) drivers licence required

n
