The Challenge

This is a hands-on, client-facing role supporting business customers across a mix of onsite and remote work. This role includes regular onsite engagement with clients, combined with remote support.

n

You'll be working directly with users, resolving issues end-to-end, and building your skills across modern Microsoft and security platforms.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Provide onsite and remote IT support to business clients

n

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktop, server, and network environments

n

Manage tickets through to resolution with a strong first-time fix focus

n

Communicate clearly with clients and manage expectations

n

Maintain accurate documentation and ticket notes

n

Work collaboratively with the wider support team

n

Take ownership of your own learning and development

n

Provide desk-side and remote support services to business customers.

n

Log all customer issues, queries, and requests into the ticket management system.

n

Provide server, network, and desktop technical support, diagnosing customer issues, and providing a high level of the first-time fix.

n

End to end ownership of problem resolution.

n

You'll be working across:

n

Microsoft 365

n

Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management

n

Networking (firewalls, VPNs, routing)

n

IT security tools and best practices

n

About you

n

1–3+ years experience in IT support (MSP experience highly regarded)

n

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

n

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and explain technical concepts in a clear, non-technical way

n

Organised, reliable, and accountable

n

Keen to learn and progress your career
