Telescope Tyres Group is looking for a Tyre Technician to join our Parkes team.

n

Tyre industry experience is preferred, but it is not essential. If you are reliable, physically capable, safety focused and willing to learn, we can provide full on‐the‐job training.

This opportunity may suit someone with experience in farming, transport, mechanical work, mining, construction, machinery operation or another practical trade setting.

n

About the role

n

You will work across truck, agricultural and earthmover tyres, both in our workshop and at customer sites.

n

Your work may include:

n

n
- Fitting, repairing, rotating and replacing truck tyres
n
- Working on tractors, harvesters and agricultural machinery
n
- Fitting and repairing tyres on loaders, graders and other heavy equipment
n
- Attending farms, depots, workshops and roadside breakdowns
n
- Operating a fully equipped tyre service vehicle
n




- Helping customers get their vehicles and equipment back to work quickly
n
- Following safe work procedures at all times
n

n

No two days are the same. You may be working in the workshop one day and assisting a customer on‐site the next.

n

The position is primarily Monday to Friday, with some after hours and weekend work shared across the team.

n

About you

n

We are looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
n
- Is reliable and takes pride in their work
n
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual work
n
- Can work safely with tools and heavy equipment
n
- Can work independently and as part of a team
n
- Communicates well with customers and co‐workers
n
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Is available for occasional after‐hours call‐outs
n

n

An MR or HR licence would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

n

Previous tyre fitting, mechanical, agricultural, transport or heavy equipment experience will be highly regarded.
