We're looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join a busy maintenance and construction team working across a variety of council assets and infrastructure. If you enjoy diverse work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and value a Monday to Friday schedule, we'd love to hear from you!

- $45.80 per hour + Super

- Monday to Friday | 6:30am - 3:30pm
n
- Temp to Perm opportunity

Your Day Will Include:

n

n
- Constructing, repairing and maintaining buildings and public infrastructure.
n
- Completing carpentry works to plans, specifications and quality standards.
n
- Performing building maintenance across a range of council assets.
n
- Reading and interpreting building, drainage and pavement plans.
n




- Conducting risk assessments and following safe work procedures.
n
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
n
- Working collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time
n

What You'll Need:

n

n
- Certificate III in Carpentry
n
- Demonstrated experience in construction, maintenance and general carpentry.
n
- Current White Card
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Ability to obtain a Working at Heights Certificate
n
- Ability to obtain First Aid Certification
n
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and risk management.
n
- Reliable, safety-focused and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
n
- You will need Safety Boots, Hi Viz Vest, Long sleeve shirt and long pants
