Deliver major civil infrastructure projects as an embedded member of a leading mining owner's project team.

Sabre Engineering Services is seeking experienced Civil Project Managers for multiple long-term contract opportunities supporting the delivery of sustaining capital and infrastructure projects within one of Australia's largest mining organisations.

n

These are embedded client-side positions where you'll work alongside experienced project teams responsible for delivering brownfield and greenfield capital works across large operational assets.

n

The Opportunity

n

Working as an embedded Civil Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of civil capital projects while managing safety, scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder expectations.

n

These long-term embedded opportunities offer an excellent work-life balance with a 4/3 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, flights and accommodation provided, and the flexibility to work from home every Friday while supporting the delivery of major civil capital projects.

Projects typically include:

- Bulk earthworks
n
- Roads and haul road infrastructure
n
- Concrete structures
n
- Drainage and water management
n
- Heavy industrial civil construction
n




- Utilities and buried services
n
- Water infrastructure
n
- Brownfield sustaining capital projects
n

n

You'll work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance and construction teams to safely deliver projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage multiple civil capital projects simultaneously
n
- Develop project execution strategies and delivery plans
n
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams
n
- Manage engineering consultants and construction contractors
n
- Control project budgets, forecasts and schedules
n
- Manage procurement and contractor engagement
n
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
n
- Ensure compliance with governance, safety and environmental requirements
n
- Prepare project reporting and stakeholder updates
n
- Drive project performance from concept through close-out
n

About You

n

We're looking for experienced Project Managers who understand the challenges of delivering projects in operational mining or heavy industrial environments.

n

You'll be confident leading contractors, managing stakeholders and balancing competing project priorities while maintaining a solid safety culture.

n





You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
n
- Experience within mining, resources, heavy industry or major infrastructure
n
- Strong contractor management skills
n
- Demonstrated commercial and financial management experience
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Ability to manage project risk, change and governance requirements
n

Qualifications

n

Essential

n

n
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Australian working rights
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- RPEQ or CPEng
n
- Project Management qualifications (PMP, Prince2 or similar)
n
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
n
- SAP experience
n
- Brownfield project delivery experience
n
- Experience working within owner's teams
n
