Staff Software Engineer | .NET & AWS

6-month contract | Sydney | Hybrid

We're partnered with a fast-growing consultancy with enterprise clients. This role is suitable for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure cloud-based applications.

You'll work hands‐on across architecture, development and deployment, while guiding engineers and helping shape technical direction.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Design and build enterprise applications using .NET, C# and AWS
n
- Lead architecture and system design for cloud-native platforms
n
- Deliver solutions from development through to production support
n
- Build secure APIs, microservices and event-driven systems
n
- Mentor engineers and support technical decision‐making
n




- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery and code quality
n

Required experience

n
- Robust commercial experience with .NET, .NET Core and C#
n
- Deep AWS and cloud-native development experience
n
- Proven solution architecture and distributed systems experience
n
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices and event‐driven architecture
n
- Hands‐on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD
n
- Strong understanding of security, testing, observability and production reliability
n
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives
n

Experience with Generative AI, Amazon Bedrock, RAG, LLMs or vector databases would be highly regarded.
