Position: Electrical Tradesperson- Asset Management Services

Location: Based at Lonsdale, SA. Various Metropolitan and Regional SA locations

RJE Global is seeking an experience and motivated Electrical Tradesperson to join our Utilities & Maintenance team, delivering work predominantly across metropolitan Adelaide and South Australia.

n

The Opportunity

n

As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing, commissioning, and repair of electrical infrastructure across a diverse range of utility and industrial projects. The role includes planned maintenance, breakdown response, shutdown work, small construction projects and participation in a 24/7 on-call roster.

About You

n

n
- A-Class Electrical Licence (South Australia)
n
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current LV Rescue & CPR (completed within the past 12 months)
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
n
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on call roster, scheduled shutdowns and unscheduled breakdowns
n
- Sound knowledge of HV equipment
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic, wiring, SLD diagrams, PID and general arrangement drawings
n
- Experience installing, fitting and wiring electrical switchgear and switchboards
n
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and specifications
n

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience

n

n
- High Voltage qualification and experience,



including switching and cable terminations
n
- Switchyard Experience
n
- Industrial electrical installation and maintenance experience
n
- Experience in diagnosing electrical faults, malfunctioning machinery and equipmentPLC control systems experience
n
- Building and wiring control panels / distribution boards
n
- Strong understanding of safety systems and WHS legislation
n
- Microsoft Office skills
n
- High Risk Work Licence (CN, DC, RB, IF, SB)
n
- Working at Heights qualification
n
- Experience in quality assurance - electrical test equipment, testing and verification
n
- Ability to work independently
n
