About the role

n

As a Landscape Construction Foreman, you'll be responsible for overseeing jobs on site from start to finish. You'll coordinate the team, materials, subcontractors, safety, quality, and daily progress to make sure projects are delivered the right way.

n

You'll work closely with management, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, while leading your crew to hit expectations around presentation, productivity, and workmanship.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Lead landscape construction crews on site
n
- Plan and manage daily and weekly workflow
n
- Keep projects moving on schedule and within budget expectations
n
- Maintain a high standard of quality, presentation, and site organisation
n
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors
n
- Read and interpret plans and drawings
n
- Monitor site safety and ensure compliance requirements are met
n
- Run pre-starts and set clear expectations for the team each day
n
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members
n
- Identify and report variations, issues, and delays early
n
- Support and develop apprentices and team members on site
n




- Keep accurate site records and complete required system updates
n
- Help create a site culture built on accountability, pride, and respect
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Strong experience in landscape construction
n
- 3-5 years of landscape construction experience is requiredProven ability to lead crews and run projects on site
n
- A minimum of 6 months crew leadership experience is requiredAbility to read plans and manage construction sequencing
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills
n
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
n
- Good problem-solving ability and sound decision-making on site
n
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
n
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Horticulture, or similar is highly regarded
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver's licence
n
