Remuneration: $118,162.00 - $144,756.00 per annum, pro rata(+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

What you’ll be doing:





Provision of expert clinical services across the lifespan, clinical governance and support to clinicians. The position is responsible for leading and maintaining clinical governance within the Community Mental Health team under the overall auspice of the Team Manager. The position provides high quality, evidence based mental health care to consumers, their families and carers.

This will include:

- Working collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Providing clinical expertise and leadership within a recovery framework.
- Facilitating and directly providing clinical supervision for Mental Health Clinicians.
- Providing education for clinicians and other parties as appropriate in relation to mental health.
- Developing and participating in quality activities and their evaluation and research appropriate to the role and service directions.
- Supporting the continued implementation and compliance with the relevant Policy Directives, Guidelines and other mandatory requirements under Commonwealth and State legislation.
- Ensuring that the physical Health care of Mental Health consumers is assessed and supported.
- Responsibility for the implementation of the Clinical Review and Support Program within the individual Mental Health team.





Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, clinical psychology or other recognised qualification within the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award (i.e. social work, occupational therapy) and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses or eligibility for membership of the relevant discipline peak body e.g. AASW for Social Workers.
- Extensive experience in the delivery of mental health, drug and alcohol services, including the supervision, mentoring and education of staff.
- NSW Working with children clearance
- Current Driver’s license and ability to travel for work purposes
