Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Plumber to join their growing maintenance plumbing team. They are a growing plumbing and electrical maintenance company servicing residential and property management clients across Melbourne's inner & outer north-west.

The team is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service, and exceptional customer experiences. Specialising in maintenance, repairs, rental compliance, fault finding, and installations, with a robust focus on doing the job right the first time.

You will work alongside their experienced plumbers across a variety of residential maintenance jobs, gaining hands-on experience while undertaking your apprenticeship.

n

Applicants who have completed a pre-apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply for 1st year.

What you will be doing

n

n
- Assisting qualified plumbers with residential maintenance work
n
- General plumbing repairs and installations
n
- Leak detection and repairs
n
- Diagnostics on heaters/air conditioners/appliances
n
- Hot water service repairs and replacements
n
- Blocked drains and drainage repair works
n




- Gas appliance servicing and installations (under supervision)
n
- Completing job reports using a mobile app
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
n

What is our client looking for

n

n
- Current 1st or 2nd Year Plumbing Apprentice, or completed a plumbing pre-apprenticeship
n
- Some experience in plumbing maintenance would be preferred
n
- A current driver licence and reliable transport is a must
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
n
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Good communication skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
