Discount Safety Signs is seeking a motivated Production Assistant to join our growing factory team in a permanent full-time role. Working across a range of production areas, you'll be involved in the manufacture of safety signs, traffic signage, stickers, printed products and custom solutions for customers throughout Australia.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, production, printing, signage, warehouse or trade assistant experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will support daily production activities to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

n

n
- Assisting with the manufacture, assembly and packaging of signage products.
n
- Operating production equipment and machinery safely.
n
- Performing quality control inspections and identifying defects.
n
- Monitoring and managing stock levels and reporting shortages.
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
n
- Undertaking routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
n
- Assisting with inventory management and material handling.
n
- Participating in daily production meetings and contributing to workflow improvements.
n
- Depending on experience and training,



you may also work across:
n
- CNC machinery operations.
n
- Wide format printing and laminating systems.
n
- Sticker, decal and road sign production.
n
- Laser cutting, plotters and finishing equipment.
n
- Sign assembly and packaging operations.
n

- Experience with CNC equipment, wide format printers or sign production equipment.
