Key Responsibilities

- Depending on role focus and organisational requirements, responsibilities may include:
n
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reports
n
- Budgeting, forecasting, and long‐term financial planning
n
- Financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting
n




- Management of general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and month‐end close
n
- Supporting commercial and strategic decision‐making
n
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS)
n
- Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
n
- Improving financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
n
- Mentoring or managing junior finance team members
n

Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
n
- CA, CPA (Australia), CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
n
- 5–10+ years' experience in progressively responsible finance or accounting roles
n
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements
n
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
n
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, TechnologyOne, etc.)
n
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
n
- Leadership potential and readiness for senior responsibility
n
